Registry Cleaner – Why Does Your Computer Need a Registry Cleaner?

The registry is an important part of your computer. It is where all the information needed for its operations are saved. It allows the computer to easily access these files when the user launches a particular program. The registry is responsible for establishing a connection between the programs and the computer. When you launch an application, the computer will directly go to the registry and look for the files associated with the application. If your registry is filled with invalid and corrupted files, your computer will have a hard time looking for the registry keys, resulting to slowdown in its performance.

You need to regularly clean the registry of your computer, if you want to enjoy the benefits of the full potential of your computer. Having an error-free computer also allows you to be more productive. Registry cleaners work in such a way that it scans the entire system and removes all the detected errors that are present in the registry of your computer.

The registry is prone to errors because it tends to modify hundreds of files every minute, which causes confusion, and finally incorrect key insertions. These invalid keys will accumulate over time and if you continue to neglect all the invalid keys your computer will soon start to manifest errors such as computer slowdown, and program termination. That is the reason why you need to have a registry cleaner in your computer. It will keep the minimum size f your computer, making it more accessible for your computer.

Registry cleaners do not cost more than $30 and if you consider all the benefits of having a clean and error-free computer, $30 is a very small amount. This will give you an extra line of defense, and will extend the lifespan of your computer.

How to Use Windows 7 to Your Advantage

Chances are you’re going to be using Windows 7 at work if not at home within the next couple of years since it’s a new, fairly successful Windows operating system. Windows 7 comes packed with new and improved features. If you’re upgrading from Windows XP, a lot of it will be unfamiliar to you and even Vista users will have a few new things to learn. I’ve put together this small guide to the new operating system so you can start to use it effectively from the first day – without the help of IT support.

If you’re a business user upgrading from XP, one of the first things you should install is the Virtual XP mode. This will ensure that all of your previous applications continue working on your new operating system without any of the typical upgrading snags. This option is only available to professional and business users, however, so those at home will have to find other options for older software.

Second, the search function is different. When you open up the start menu in Windows 7, there is a small search bar at the bottom. This bar will search your whole system and has replaced the previous search function. Windows 7’s search is called Federated Search and it doesn’t just find files. It also finds programs and functions that match your keywords. This is an easy way to track down buried files or programs hidden behind layers of folders.

Another relatively new feature is the pin function. This was introduced for programs in the start menu in Vista but Windows 7 has expanded its functionality. If you have a program or file you use most of the time, you can pin it to your start menu and taskbar for easy access and visibility at all times. You’ll never have to hunt through all of your files for your CV again.

Windows 7 also introduces the Libraries feature. This is a new way to organize your files and folders, making them easier than ever to access and edit. For professional users, Libraries are a fantastic way to organize projects or to share data between employees – a feature worth trying out.

Microsoft has updated Windows Aero, the user interface for the Windows Operating System. They’ve added three new ways for you to control your open windows. If you shake a window, all other open windows will fade into the background, making it easier for you to focus on the task at hand. Shake a second time and they’ll all appear again. You can also snap windows alongside one another, allowing for easy comparison without the hassle of resizing and moving two or three windows around. Lastly, you can see through windows and preview windows on the taskbar, so you’ll never lose your most important documents.

Security is one of a modern business’s big concerns and there are a few new functions in Windows 7 to help you out. For one thing, your computer’s security information is all displayed in one place, the Action Center. This makes it easy for you to check that everything is okay. If something has gone wrong, though, the Problem Steps Recorder will take a snapshot of your issues and send it to your IT team, eliminating confusing and frustrating phone calls for good.

If you’ve made or plan to make the switch to Windows 7, I hope these tips will help you to reach your full potential with this new operating system.

Easy way to Locate and Fix Kernel32.dll Error

In order to fix kernel32.dll errors, I first recommend a registry cleaner. It can often be the best solution for persistent registry errors.

The kernel32.dll error, like other registry errors, often causes problems like program interruption and even full system shutdown. If you’re having problems with dll system files, feel free to follow this advice and information to fix your computer issues.

What is Kernel32.dll

This dll (a file in your dynamic link library) is related to system memory. If a program or file tries to access this memory reserved for system memory, then you’ll receive this error message:

“Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module”

Usually the file or program trying to access the system memory is a virus. Viruses like to burrow into your registry and eat up system memory in order to cause crashes in your system.

What’s Causing the Error

Depending on the error message, the memory error can also be related to different problems on your system.

Invalid Page Fault: This error is caused when a program inappropriately attempts to access the restricted memory. If you know the program that is doing this, uninstall the guilty program.

Memory Errors: Usually caused by low memory or specific bugs in your memory system. To find the specific nature of the memory problem, go to msconfig.exe and type in “device=c:windowshimem.sys/testmem:on” and reboot your computer. It should give you a readout telling you where the message is occurring.

Device Driver: This error message indicates problems with your hardware or their drivers. If it is the driver, the problem should be solved by updating your drivers to the newest version. If it is a hardware problem, you may have to trade out your hardware to troubleshoot the issue.

Malware Infection

Viruses are so common that I usually check there first. Often people underestimate how prolific and dangerous viruses can be. Scan your computers often and on a regular basis with the latest antivirus program.

Viruses like to dig into your Windows system files and dlls because they can be harder to detect and delete. Because of this, I also recommend an excellent registry cleaner to keep your system files more secure and organized.
