Registry Repair – Why Do You Need a Registry Cleaner Installed in Your Computer?

Imagine if you are working in a messy office desk, you will have a hard time looking for the things you need before you can start your task. There are times when you will not even be able to start your task at all, because you cannot find the things you need. The registry of your computer works exactly the same. If you launch a program or open an application, your computer will directly go to the registry of your computer, and look for the files it needs. If your registry is unorganized, your computer will have a hard time looking for the files it needs, which results to performance slowdown. There are times when the computer will not even be able to find the keys resulting to program termination.

The registry is a massive storage room inside your computer. All the information, instructions, and commands that your computer needs are stored in here. Every time you install and un-install a program or driver, the registry is modified. Every time you change your Internet and desktop settings it will also be modified. That is the reason why it is prone to errors and that is why you need to regularly clean the registry of your computer regularly.

Manually cleaning the registry is possible, but you need to have a strong understanding of how it works and its structure. You also need to have a great sense of patience because the whole process can take up to 14 days to complete. A simple mistake can lead to serious errors and may result to your computer being unable to start at all.

Fortunately, there are tools called registry cleaners, which can automatically clean the registry and keep it organized. These tools do not cost more than $30 and it is a small amount if you consider all the benefits of having an error-free computer. They can also remove traces of malicious files in your computer, which provides an extra line of protection for your computer.

How to Fix Runtime Error 13? Here Is the Solution.

There are a number of reasons why annoying errors like “runtime error 13″ happens, but usually, it is caused by new programs being installed over incomplete uninstallation of older programs. These causes registry pile ups and system slow-downs. Another highly possible reason could be the damage done by malware, spyware and/or adware which attaches themselves to your PC and wrecking havoc by modifying and deleting crucial files from your system.

The good news is that there is an easy solution that can eliminate runtime error 13 efficiently. 99% of the time, a registry cleaner called RegCure, can be used to repair and restore your computer’s missing or corrupted files. Regcure is specifically designed to counter most runtime errors by checking the entire file structure of your computer including file integrity, application extension problems, shared files, short cut issues and a host of other file sections.

It is actually a pretty easy thing to do. What you want to do is to download a reputable registry program such as Registry Easy which is free and highly recommended by many computer experts, like myself. Download it for free and perform a full scan of your system to find out what is causing runtime error 13. Depending on how many files your computer has on it, the scan will take anywhere from a few minutes to as long as 20 minutes to complete. It will pick out the errors and restores it completely. A registry cleaner not only fix Windows errors, but also fine tunes your computer performance. Once your system is cleared of its errors, it would be returned to its optimum speed, just like when you first bought it.

Fix Slow PC Startup? Here Is How to Fix it!

Do you need to fix slow pc startup problems? Have you noticed that your friend’s old Pentium II computer seems to run faster than your Pentium IV? A Pentium IV computer with a well maintained windows XP system will run fast even if it has only 128 MB of Ram memory, and have a smaller CPU. So if your computer is running or starting up slow you need to fix slow pc startup through the software, before you look at the hardware of your system.

If your computer is running slow then you are probably experiencing software problems. There are probably a ton of different little odd things going on with all of those 1 and 0’s that you don’t even know about.

There are several things that can slow your computer down:

  • You could have a slow hard drive or a hard drive that is failing
  • You may not have enough memory
  • You might have a virus
  • Your computer may just be overloaded with junk

The easiest way to determine what is wrong with your pc and how to make it run faster is to eliminate the easiest problem first. The first thing you should do is perform some easy maintenance tasks and then see what happens.

  1. Delete all of your temporary files, your unwanted files, and your recycle bin by going to system tools under your accessories in start.
  2. Run a scandisk
  3. Defragment your hard drive to get rid of any fragmented areas
  4. Upgrade and run your antivirus program
  5. Download a registry fix tool from the internet.
  6. Install the registry fix tool and run it. These are pretty self explanatory programs, and the program itself will take you through the steps.

The above process should take you about a good twenty minutes to do. Once you have finished everything reboot your system. If this does not make your computer start up faster then you need to look elsewhere at the culprit.

Check your antivirus software, if it is outdated or incompatible with your system it will make your computer start up slower. You might fix this problem by upgrading or changing your anti virus program. Run the virus program a couple of times to make sure you don’t have a virus or malware on your machine.

If the problem still persists, it may be your hard drive that is going bad. Listen to your computer! Are there any strange sounds coming from the machine? One of the symptoms of a bad hard drive is a knocking or clicking noise that shows up either constantly or intermittently. Another symptom you may have of a bad hard drive is the blue screen of death that shows up once in a while. To determine if its your hard drive you can download a hard drive tester to scan the hard drive and see if this is your problem.
You may only need to add some RAM memory. Go to system tools and System information to find out how much memory your computer has. A computer running Windows XP should be running at a minimum on 256MB of RAM.

As you can see there are several things you can do to fix slow pc startup. It’s just a matter of taking the time to do it.

Michael Baker is a Computer Optimization Technician, and recommends getting a Free Computer Scan to fix any problems such as computers freezing, locking up, restarting for no reason, and getting the blue death screen.
